This course explores how the biblical text has been transmitted from its earliest manuscripts to the modern Bibles we read today. Students will examine the history of scribal practices, the manuscript traditions of the Old and New Testaments, the role of textual criticism, and the process by which ancient texts were faithfully preserved.
